The Brief

A forum about the future deserved coverage that looked like it.

Mastercard's annual Innovation Forum is the moment the brand gathers leaders from Greece, Cyprus, and Malta and speaks openly about what's next. In 2025 the event moved to Piraeus 260, scaled up to 450 guests, and added live feed requirements projected on screen during the event itself.

The brief from agency MSPS was clear on the surface: film crew, photography, vision mixing, a same-day social cut, and a highlight reel within three days. The real brief was unstated: make Mastercard look as innovative as it claims to be.

The Problem

Conference footage ages overnight.
Stories don't.

For a brand whose entire positioning is built on innovation and trust, the gap between message and execution is costly. The footage is the last impression the event leaves on the world. It had to carry the same weight as the speakers on stage.

The Approach

Cinematic thinking.
Social-first execution.

We reframed the production around a single idea: this film would not summarize the event. It would invite people into it. Every decision, from lens choice to edit rhythm, served that intent.

Cinematic over documentary
Cinema lenses. Slow-motion captures of VIPs and keynote speakers. A docu-style aesthetic that elevated every frame above standard conference footage.

Social-first from the first frame
A dedicated vertical camera shooting throughout. An on-site editor cutting reels and stories in real time. Speaker soundbites formatted for LinkedIn and Instagram, ready before guests left the building.

Live vision mixing
Multi-camera live switching with a flow director managing the room feed projected on screen during the event, keeping the audience connected to every angle.

Two films, two purposes
The hero film "The future together" was not a recap. Built from real words and real moments to spark dialogue. The full event film documented the day for the global record.

A complete social content system
Nine speaker campaigns with tailored copy for Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Each formatted for its platform. Each carrying the brand's voice without repeating it.
